ERW Pipe sizes range from 1/4 inch to 12 inches in diameter and are individually tested in strict compliance to GOODYEAR's specifications for quality assurance. The principal component of steel pipe production is hot rolled steel. As raw material, the sheet metal comes in rolls - inspected, mark and prepared. The roll is uncoiled and silt into specific widths and are then coiled, into a new roll. The now narrower roll is then uncoiled, flattened and leveled. It is then fed into the (shearing) machine where its end is clearly sheared to be joined and welded to an incoming roll by that can accommodate numerous roll lengths. This is to ensure continuous mill operations.
